En el 2017, inicia la obra en Ruiz Cortines
La Iglesia Gentil de Cristo estableció su misión en Ruiz Cortines en septiembre de 2017, respondiendo a una solicitud del hermano David González. La obra fue iniciada por el hermano Arturo León Valdez, recién llegado de Michoacán, quien fue contactado para tal fin mediante el hermano Daniel Valdez. Los primeros cultos congregaron a un núcleo de cinco miembros y a un gran número de visitantes.
